The Screening Effect

When getting the answers becomes the wild goose chase,
Desperately Fast n Loose when one plays.
Do or die when mind cries,
Cheat or steal when one tries.
When choosing options become the battle for survival,
When a trivial confusion calls for a thorough revival.
When friends turn their back and invigilators become a nightmare.
It's a duck-out when umpire declares,
When eyes become as vigilant as never.
And everyone except you seems to be more clever.
When clock starts running against the time,
And the chill of apprehension runs down the spine.
When GOD demonstrates his Holy existence,
When needed most,he takes away your intelligence.
When future seems far from true,
And Father is waiting to beat you black n blue.
When alphabets appear Greek n Latin
And the search is on for a congenial Palladin.
When you forgot what you remembered a moment before.
When memory ceases to work and you can't score
When Plethora of questions hit you hard
Helplessly blind everything seems dark
When the benchmate is the Hobson's Choice,
Copy the answer and ready to rejoice.
When exam seems to be an official conspiration
And your hard work oozes out through perspiration.
"I'll crack it this time"-when one thinks
But a negative result gives the final sting
When the whole year echoes in the memory,
And one more failure is added to the story
The reality of life, when one discerns.
It's not so easy is what one learns.

This whole tragic melodrama when an innocent student is victimised by the bewildering puzzle of IIT and relentlessly screened out is officially termed as THE SCREENING EFFECT.
